The Problem

The low-level infrastructure, including Layer 1, Layer 2, and Rollups-as-a-Service (RaaS), has continued to grow, all of which require a thriving DeFi ecosystem to ensure sustainable growth. Nonetheless, the growth of chains has not been matched by the development of high-quality dApps because building DeFi protocols faces significant friction for several reasons:

• High Complexity and Risk: Building new DeFi protocols is often complex, requiring niche skills and an ever-growing list of things developers must understand to build them safely. This creates a high barrier to entry, is time-consuming, and introduces many new risks.

• Limitations of Forking: Forked protocols face limitations to grow, as they are capped by forked functionalities. Developers making incorrect changes to the forked protocols can lead to exploits.

• Unsustainable Incentives: Incentivizing leading projects to build DeFi protocols on top is a significant challenge for chains as it is both expensive and unsustainable in the long run.

To address these challenges, INFINIT was introduced to abstract away all the complexities of launching and scaling any DeFi protocols. INFINIT provides a robust and modular DeFi infrastructure for chains to kickstart growth and build a strong DeFi ecosystem. It also lowers the barrier to entry for developers, allowing them to build high-quality dApps with minimized risk of introducing new vulnerabilities and enabling rapid speed to market and scaling.

The Solution: INFINIT

INFINIT is the first DeFi abstraction layer that lets you launch and scale any DeFi protocols in minutes.

At INFINIT, anyone can launch a customized DeFi application on any integrated chain or scale by integrating new functionalities into existing applications in a few clicks, whether they are experienced developers or novice developers. INFINIT does not require any complex coding languages, such as Solidity or Rust; all that is needed is TypeScript, an upgraded version of JavaScript.

• Chains can leverage INFINIT’s technology to accelerate the development of their DeFi ecosystems while saving time and costs, as anyone can now launch DeFi protocols on their chain in minutes.

• Existing DeFi protocols can adopt INFINIT to scale their products by integrating new features or functionalities. Developers will not need to start from scratch and risk introducing new risks, as INFINIT offers customizable building blocks, enabling a plug-and-play approach. This removes code variance and mitigates the risks when deploying new features.

• New DeFi protocols or novice developers can use INFINIT to launch DeFi protocols in a timely manner and go-to-market faster with fuller functionalities, increasing their chance of becoming a leading protocol. Its user-friendly infrastructure allows developers to simply use Typescript and predefined building blocks for deployment.

Note: In a later phase, INFINIT will provide a simple and user-friendly web interface, enabling both developers and non-developers to build and customize DeFi protocols directly from the INFINIT frontend, where coding will not be required at all.
